Event Description

Fairlington's Sanctuary will be decorated with Easter lilies, azaleas and hydrangeas on Easter Sunday, April 16th. If you wish to purchase a flower or make a contribution to the Pastor’s Discretionary Fund in honor or memory of someone, please CLICK HERE and fill out the form at so that we can include you in the dedications that will be listed in the Easter bulletin. Paper forms are available on the Connect boards at Fairlington. Prices for each type of flower are listed below.

Easter Lilies ($11 each)

Azaleas ($16.50 ea.)

Blue Hydrangeas ($17.50 ea.)

Make your check payable to FUMC, memo: Easter Flowers, and place in the offering plate, or send to the church office at 3900 King Street, Alexandria, VA 22302. You may also pay via e-giving HERE .  This Sunday is United Methodist Men’s Sunday. The men are excited to be leading worship and we are delighted that member Paul Winfree will be speaking. Paul is an economist and once wrote a paper while in graduate school about church attendance during times of national crisis, economic recessions, and bad weather (FYI, people are less likely to attend when it’s sunny or raining). Prove him wrong, whatever the weather, by joining us for worship Sunday at 9:30 or 11:00.
