Living our faith through service

As United Methodists, we live our faith through service, which we view as an outward sign of God's grace within each of us. As members of Fairlington Church, we serve in our own community of Arlington/ Alexandria, Virginia and Washington, DC, as well as in Virginia and the U.S. and around the world.

We ask our members to participate in at least three service projects during the year.  At FUMC, you can choose from several service groups that assist local families with children, education, housing, companionship, and hunger. Other groups set out on missions to Carolina Cross, South Dakota, Russia, and natural disaster areas.


IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are a Federal Government employee, you can support some missions that Fairlington sponsors through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) with a payroll deduction plan or one-time donation. Each CFC-endorsed mission will have the CFC number that you can use when completing your CFC donation form.
