Dr. Louise Craig Wilson has been the Director of Music at Fairlington since 1991. She has built a comprehensive vocal and handbell program for children, youth, and adults. Annually in December, Louise directs the Messiah Sing-Along in Alexandria which is accompanied by the Amadeus Orchestra. 2016 will mark its 15th year at Fairlington. The Fairlington choir, on two occasions has been invited to perform the National Anthem for the Washington Nationals. Louise is also an active participant in promoting the United Methodist UMCOR Choir Festival and Massed Handbell Festivals in Northern Virginia area churches.

Louise received her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in organ performance from The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and her Master of Music degree in Organ Performance and Church Music with a cognate field in conducting from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana. Her Bachelor of Music degree in Organ Performance was also from Indiana University. Dr. Wilson was a member of the adjunct organ faculty at The American University, Washington, D.C. and the Chicago Conservatory College.

Louise is married to Mauro Cooper and they live in Alexandria with their two cats, Kitty Marie, and Elsa.
