Welcoming. Nurturing. Serving.
What is a small group?
A small group is an opportunity for individuals to grow in their faith and relationship with God by spending time with others engaged in conversation. The hope is that Christian friendship will develop and our love of God will grow.
What do you do in a small group?
You spend time with others talking and hanging out! There is no curriculum, the group will choose what it will do. You might read a book together, or you might reflect on the sermon each week, or you might read scripture together. It is up to you and your group!
When do we meet?
Your small group will decide when you meet. Ideally, it would be no less than once a month.
For how long?
There is no time limit for how long a small group meets. Our small groups will be open, that is, membership in the group might change as people move away, join the church, or simply want to change their group involvement. However, memberships in all small groups will be renewed twice a year to allow for transitions and changes as people’s schedule changes.
What are the requirements for joining a small group?
Anybody can join! Only a desire to grow in your faith and a commitment to others in your group is necessary.
How do I join?
Numerous groups will be formed over the next couple of years, so there is ample time and space for anybody who wishes to join. Groups will start at certain times of year, so there may be a wait period to join a group as they are begun or group membership is renewed. But we will find a group for anybody who desires to join one.
