Young Adults

Are you in your 20s or 30s and looking for ways to connect with other Young Adults? Fairlington United Methodist Church understands that it is important to find a place where you belong, which is why we have some ways for you to connect.

We have bi-monthly dinners which allow you to share a meal while to connecting with other young adults.

We also have Fairlington Fellowship, a group for adults to grow together, get to know one another more deeply, spend time together, and pray for and with each other. This group does monthly outings, which are opportunities to know each other outside of Sunday worship and Sunday School. Some past events include going to King's Dominion, doing a Spirituality and Nature walk, attending events in Old Town Alexandria, going to the Escape Room, volunteering at the Carpenter's Shelter, and participating in a Harry Potter and Theology Study. If you would like to learn more about upcoming events, join the Fairlington Fellowship Facebook Page or filter "Young Adults" on our Events Calendar.

For more information, or if you have any questions contact Pastor Devon, at devon@fairlingtonumc.org or (703)671-8557 ext.104.

Download Here: Our 5 Year History as a Reconciling Congregation

We celebrate Fairlington's 5-year anniversary of becoming a Reconciling Congregation, intentionally welcoming all people as beloved children of God.

Our celebratory theme, “Love in All Colors,” reflects the breadth and diversity of God’s human creation as proclaimed in our church’s welcoming statement.

Check out our audio for personal testimonies from FUMC members. They share how being part of a reconciling congregation has personally affected them and shaped their faith journey.
