From Pastor Mary Beth: Word of Life

Events change us. Experiences transform us, for better or worse. The worst, which happened this week to a record number of people, will impact lives forever.

At the same time, forces for good are rallying as they always do. Stories of hope and community and belief and generosity and strength are being told.

The Bible is a source for good stories like that. Words of life that can be found in ancient commandments, histories, gospels, letters, prophecies, and poetry, sifted and interpreted for today. They can make a difference in our lives. They are the Word of God for God’s people for these days. Thanks be to God.
