Lenten Bible Study: Starting March 22

Roll Down, Justice! Lent offers Christians an opportunity to renew their commitment to being more Christ-like. The Lenten Biblical Reflection, Roll Down, Justice!, written by Faye Wilson, featuring the music and reflections of Mark A. Miller, poses the following questions to believers:

What are you prepared to give in order to have a closer walk with God?

What can you give in order to embrace anew the work of justice?

This Lenten Study will take place on Wednesdays beginning March 22nd through April 26th (7:30-9:00pm). Facilitator will be Rev. Joey Heath. Rev. Heath is the United Methodist Chaplain at American University. His passion in ministry is to see life changing transformation in the world and to be the church where all are welcomed and embraced for exactly who God has created each one to be. RSVP to Rev. Christian White: christian@fairlingtonumc.com or 703.671.8557. Space is limited. Don’t miss out on this exceptional learning opportunity!

Download Here: Our 5 Year History as a Reconciling Congregation

We celebrate Fairlington's 5-year anniversary of becoming a Reconciling Congregation, intentionally welcoming all people as beloved children of God.

Our celebratory theme, “Love in All Colors,” reflects the breadth and diversity of God’s human creation as proclaimed in our church’s welcoming statement.

Check out our audio for personal testimonies from FUMC members. They share how being part of a reconciling congregation has personally affected them and shaped their faith journey.
