Weekend Details & Your Monthly SteepleTalk Newsletter

Dear Fairlington Members and Friends:

Here is your March SteepleTalk Newsletter. Its eight pages are full of opportunities to be welcomed, nurtured and to serve through our church. Take a look at the Simplify Retreat coming up next weekend. See details about Holy Week and Easter and think about who you might invite to join you.

On this third Sunday of Lent, as we celebrate Holy Communion, we’re talking about "Giving Up Superiority." Jesus modeled it with the Samaritan woman at the well in John 4, our text for this Sunday. Our youth choir will be singing at both 9:30 and 11am services, and we will be dedicating the newly renovated Family Room behind the balcony.

Whatever changeable and surprising weather March is bringing, we are confident of the steady love God reveals in our lives every day. Call someone and check in on them today.

Peace,

Mary Beth

Reconciling Notes

Download Here: Our 5 Year History as a Reconciling Congregation

We celebrate Fairlington's 5-year anniversary of becoming a Reconciling Congregation, intentionally welcoming all people as beloved children of God.

Our celebratory theme, “Love in All Colors,” reflects the breadth and diversity of God’s human creation as proclaimed in our church’s welcoming statement.

Check out our audio for personal testimonies from FUMC members. They share how being part of a reconciling congregation has personally affected them and shaped their faith journey.
