Capital Pride Parade

Saturday, June 9

Join over 100 United Methodists from VA, DC and MD who will march in the Capital Pride parade celebrating God’s love for all.  Given our place in the parade line-up, come to the meeting location (near 22nd and P Streets, exact location will be announced closer to date) between 5-5:30pm.  No need to RSVP, just show up!  Questions?  Contact Mark Elder at markuselder@gmail.com or (571) 258-9984.

 This Sunday is United Methodist Men’s Sunday. The men are excited to be leading worship and we are delighted that member Paul Winfree will be speaking. Paul is an economist and once wrote a paper while in graduate school about church attendance during times of national crisis, economic recessions, and bad weather (FYI, people are less likely to attend when it’s sunny or raining). Prove him wrong, whatever the weather, by joining us for worship Sunday at 9:30 or 11:00.
